I love this crown because it is very filligree and the hair can bee seen through the design. It is made from a piece of hand made spanish lace that I found in an antique store here in Madrid. I´m sure the design no longer exists due to its age and condition. I recently made the same design in gold with one irregularly shaped pearl mounted in each of the flat central areas. It looked like a medieval treasure. My niece posed in her first communion dress for this photo.
